The DiskStation DS1525+ 5-Bay NAS Enclosure from Synology is a versatile 5-bay storage solution that scales with your needs. It supports up to 15 drives with two DX525 expansion units, 10GbE networking via a PCIe 3.0 x2 expansion slot, and NVMe SSD caching or storage with two M.2 2280 slots. Powered by Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM), it offers a flexible all-in-one solution for data sharing, synchronization, backup, and surveillance.
This NAS is equipped with five drive bays that are capable of natively supporting 3.5" SATA hard drives as well as 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs for data storage.
