Mobotix MxSwitch
MOBOTIX’s new MxSwitch is a compact DIN rail module that can be used to directly connect and power up to four MOBOTIX Door Stations, cameras or other PoE/PoE+ devices. In addition to four PoE+ ports with a total maximum output of 75 watts and the uplink port with no PoE power supply, MxSwitch offers further technical features that make connecting and powering a complete MOBOTIX Door Station particularly easy. Thanks to the integrated MxSplit technology, four of the eight wires (or two of the four wire pairs) of the Ethernet connection cable of a Door Station can be used, for example:
- as a two-wire connection cable for the electromagnetic anti-theft protection module in the outdoor station’s frame; and
- as a two-wire connection cable for the MxBus – for example, to connect the MX-DoorMaster or an MX-GPS-Box directly to the MxSwitch.
Installation and service in North Carolina only. Preprogramming can be done before shipping to site.
