MOBOTIX TEMPERATURE DETECTION WEATHERPROOF THERMOGRAPHIC DUAL M16 CAMERA WITH 25° (R119) THERMAL LENS & 25° (B119) LENS (NEW)
Mobotix Thermographic Cameras
MOBOTIX TEMPERATURE DETECTION WEATHERPROOF THERMOGRAPHIC DUAL M16 CAMERA WITH 25° (R119) THERMAL LENS & 25° (B119) LENS (NEW)
Twice As Secure - Even In Total Darkness.
The intelligent video system with an integrated high-performance thermal image sensor takes full advantage of the M16 camera design. Thanks to the two directly adjacent lenses, there is also a thermal overlay function with image overlay (thermal and optical) to pinpoint the exact location of hotspots like smoldering fires in a visible image.
Features:
- IP thermographic camera TR with Germanium Lens: B119 equivalent, horizontal/vertical image angle 25°/19°
- ONVIF-compliant Mx6 system platform (2nd generation) with H.264, MxPEG+ and M-JPEG
- Thermal radiometry (TR): calibrated thermal sensor for temperature events from -40 to 550°C (-40 to 1022°F)
- NETD typ. 50 mK, <79 mK, IR range 7.5 to 13.5 micrometer, uncooled micro bolometer, up to 9 frames per second, 336 x 252 pixels (can be scaled up to 6MP)
- Optional optical 6MP sensor module (to be ordered individually) • IP66/IK07, -40 to 60°C (-40 to 140°F)
- Internal DVR: 4 GB microSD
- System components: speaker and microphone (inside housing), PIR sensor, temperature sensor, MxActivitySensor, shock detector
- VarioFlex wall mount (can be used with additional ceiling mount MX-DH-M24-SecureFlex and pole mount MX-MH-SecureFlex-ESWS), ethernet patch cable 0.5 m/1.65 ft
- Interfaces: Ethernet 10/100 (RJ45), MxBus, USB; IO and RS232 via additional MX Interface Box
- Incl. 1 Blind Module (MX-SM-Blind-PW)
Typical screening is about 3-4 people at once (45°). Usually they’re spread out a few feet from each other and ideally in some sort of chokepoint away from doors and hvac vents (need the room temperature the be as stable as possible to increase accuracy).
FDA is recommending just screening one person at a time per device (25°).
Includes:
- Qty. (1) Mx-M16TB-R119 (M16B Camera with 25° Thermal Lens pre-installed at factory).
- Qty. (1) Mx-O-SMA-S-6D119 (accompanying optical 25° Lens).
- Qty. (1) MX-ExtIO (module for assisting with reading ambient temp in the room and feeding this data back to the thermal).
- Qty. (1) MX-CBL-MU-EN-EN-PG-2 (cable for connecting ExTIO module to camera).
Alternate option:
- Qty. (1) MX-OPT-GPS1-EXT (Module to read temperature in the room and feed that data to the camera to optimize calibration).
Thermal Lenses from Super Wide Angle (45°) to Tele (17°) for M15D MOBOTIX cameras.

Note: In the color sensors, the infrared CUT filter is NOT in the lens, but rather already installed in the lens casing in the camera.
Important Features:
- High-end thermografic camera with thermal sensor of typically 50 mK and a temperature measuring range of -40 to +550°C/-40 to +1022°F
- Two cameras in one: Thermal sensor plus 6MP sensor module can be displayed simultaneously in the dual image.
- The thermal sensor is capable of detecting even in complete darkness and/or through smoke, smog, or a thin plastic screen (limited during thick fog).
- Thermal images for detection are an ideal addition to systems with standard image sensors (for identification).
- The combination with the MxActivitySensor in particular delivers extremely reliable video analysis results of person/vehicle movements, as it is now possible to block out disruptive factors such as regular movements of "cold" objects such as bushes, grass, water, clouds, waves, etc.
- Thermal technology coverage is largely independent of distance.
- Thermal sensor with three different focal lengths available (image angle of 17°, 25° and 45°).
Installation and service in North Carolina only. Preprogramming can be done before shipping to site.
Cameras with thermographic image sensors ("thermal cameras") are subject to the special export regulations of the U.S.A. and the ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation): According to the currently applicable export regulations of the U.S.A. and the ITAR, cameras with thermographic image sensors or parts thereof must not be exported to countries embargoed by the U.S.A. or the ITAR. At present, this applies to the following countries: Syria, Iran, Cuba, North Korea and Sudan. The same export ban applies to all persons and institutions listed in "The Denied Persons List" (see www.bis.doc.gov, "Policy Guidance > Lists of Parties of Concern"). Under no circumstances can the camera itself or its thermographic image sensors be used in the design, the development or in the production of nuclear, biological or chemical weapons or in the weapons themselves.
