The VDB775 video doorbell uses built-in AI to recognize familiar faces and tell the difference between people, packages, vehicles, and animals.
Directional tripwires and proactive deterrence features alert you early and help keep unwanted visitors away.
The ADC-VDB775 Premium Doorbell camera is Alarm.com's most feature-packed doorbell camera to date. Offering the full range of Alarm.com's video analytics, along with Perimeter Guard and Package Detection, the VDB775 is the ideal option for just about any scenario. The VDB775 uses your existing doorbell wiring for power and connects to your home network via Wi-Fi for easy installation and enrollment. In addition, this doorbell camera can be enrolled with Alarm.com's newer Bluetooth pairing, which helps expedite the process. Being able to utilize the full range of video analytics, this doorbell camera offers up to three simultaneous video analytics rules, which can be configured for people, animal, and vehicle detection. Additionally, it provides both ground zones and directional tripwires for motion detection. Using Alarm.com's Perimeter Guard feature set, the ADC-VDB775 can be set up to trigger audible and visual alerts to potential intruders in case they decide to show up during unwanted hours of the night. For those who utilize the AI deterrence add-on service, the VDB775 can also announce automated voice alerts.
Hardware-wise, the ADC-VDB775 touts a 4MP camera lens with a 150-degree vertical by 150-degree horizontal field of view, providing you with a large, clear image. The VDB775 offers HDR and a maximum resolution of 2048 x 2048. The temperature range on newer Alarm.com doorbell cameras, such as this, also allows installation in a wide variety of climates from -58°F up to 120°F. This doorbell camera supports both digital and mechanical chimes, as well as the ADC-W115C wireless chime if you do not have an existing chime installed. For mechanical chimes, the VDB775 comes with a dongle that will need to be installed on the chime. For audio, the VDB775 supports full duplex two-way audio for sound capture and speaking to guests or delivery drivers as needed. Activation of the VDB775 requires an Alarm.com Pro Video with Analytics plan or higher, or the Alarm.com doorbell add-on plan for users with an existing interactive plan.
